SM12: (Mount Pleasant down to The Blue Lias): leaves the village at the top of Mount Pleasant, crosses the Southam Road and runs down to the Blue Lias. Return by the canal towpath or the footpath that starts at High Clays farm. Cross the canal at the concrete bridge and climbs up to the Rugby Road near to the waste recycling site. Cross over the road and follow the concrete track through the small industrial estate and turn right to join the village at the end of Elm Row. Status - high nettles at the rear of Stockton Fields Farm

SM13: (top of The Hill to Windmill Farm and down to the Rugby Road). Status - this now has new gates and waymark posts so no problems.

SM14: (Post Office Lane to High Street). Status - Needs waymarkers posts at each end and the muddy surface needs stabilising. An order for the latter is in hand and road planings will be laid.

SM15: (From the Sports club to Tomlow Road): leaves the village at the Cricket ground crosses Station Road and runs across the fields to the Tomlow Road. From here return via SM 30 down to Napton Road, carry on past Green Farm and turn right to join the village at The Radical. SM 15 can also take you to Broadwell by taking R329 off the Tomlow Road opposite SM30. Status - One of the fields across Station Road has been recently ploughed and needs reinstating.

SM16: (St Michaels Crescent to Becks Lane). Status - Needs a waymarker post at the Becks Lane end and the conifer cuttings that have been dumped there need removing. A contractor has been asked to quote for this.

SM17: (along The Radical towards Napton). Status - The path is overgrown where it crosses the stream and needs cutting back.

Village footpaths
SM29

SM29: (Becks Lane to Southam via playing field). Status - There is a public footpath but it is poorly marked and only negotiable with extreme difficulty by persons who already know the way and are able to trample down the long grass and thistles and cross ploughed fields and other fields with crops growing to get through. Hence it is not viable for anyone other than young people, dogwalkers etc who actually know the path, and they will need very good footwear - hiking boots or wellington boots in order to negotiate the boggy areas, brambled areas and open ploughed fields.

SM30: (Tomlow Road to Napton Road). Status - Waymarker missing from gate at Tomlow Road end.

SM182: (Countrywide Stores up to the Rugby Road). Status - no problems.

SM183: (Elm Row to calley pits). Status - no problems
