The Parish Council is supporting a local intiative to build a 'multi-use' Rollerblade, Skateboard and BMX Bike ramp complex on Stockton Recreation Ground for use by local young people.
A Steering Group has been set up comprising Lorraine Riddick, Anna Wheeler, Cheryl Knights and Peter Banham (Stockton Parish Councillor), who are in the process of finalising a project plan and budget, and seeking out funding options.
The Parish Council has agreed to provide a grant of £5000 to kick start the project.
