Warwickshire’s Household Waste Recycling Centres opening hours are changing on 9th January 2012 with a reduction in the hours of opening Monday to Friday to six hours per day.

SDC will now accept PLASTIC FOOD TRAYS, YOGHURT POTS, MARGARINE TUBS, CLEAN TINFOIL in your Blue Bin. These are in addition to the existing collection of paper, glass bottles, plastic bottles, cardboard and food and drink cans.
You should NOT recycle plastic bags or plastic wrapping.

Affordable Housing in Glebe Close >
The District Council has formally granted permission for 12 affordable houses to be built on land adjacent to Glebe Close, but it is not clear at the moment how the money needed to build these houses will be raised.
BMX Track/Skateboard Park >
The Parish Council is supporting a local intiative to build a 'multi-use' Rollerblade, Skateboard and BMX Bike ramp complex on Stockton Recreation Ground for use by local young people. A short term initiative has created a BMX ramp from the slide hill using earth moved from the cemetery.

Dogs Fouling in Village Streets and the Cemetery >
There have been recent reports of dogs fouling in the cemetery and the football & cricket pitches. These are not permissable areas for walking dogs and penalty for not clearing up dog fouling can be up to £1,000 if taken to court, but there is also provision for a fixed penalty scheme with a fine of £50 in England.
